The chimney

The chimney
The first little pig built me from straw.
He realised me quickly, I soon felt tall.
The material was cheap, soon thatched together
Everyone was happy, I kept out the weather.

The second little pig built me from wood
He put me together with bright shiny nails
Wooden planks roamed all over the roof
Hammered down with the little pig’s hoof.

The third little pig built me from bricks
She built me strongly so I would stay
in place on the roof in spite of the wind,
that the wolf blew and could not rescind.

The moral of this story, children, has to be
When you want a strong chimney, always choose she.
